With more than 200 golf courses calling the Phoenix area home, you can play a different course every time you go out if you like, or you could pick your favorites and just stick to those. The following overview will discuss some of the most popular courses in Phoenix, but you can play any of the others and still have a great game of golf. Gold Canyon Golf Club The Gold Canyon Golf Club in Phoenix costs anywhere from $100- $150 for a round of golf. There are two courses, Sidewinder and Dinosaur Mountain, but Dinosaur Mountain is the best option and the most fun. The golf course is located in the Golf Canyon. Golf Club at Eagle Mountain The McDowell Mountains set the backdrop for this great course and a round costs between $100 - $150. This course is close to Scottsdale in the Fountain Hills. Troon North Golf Club This golf club is a little pricey at $150 - $200 per round of golf, but it is worth it especially if you play the Monument course. The other course at this club is named Pinnacle, but it isn’t as great as the Monument course. The Phoenician Golf Club At $150 - $200 for a round of golf the Phoenician Golf Club offers three nine hole courses. We-Ko-Pa The Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation owns this golf course and the fairways are free of homes. There are two courses the Cholla and the Saguaro. Ocotillo Country Club This golf course offers 27 holes of nothing but water holes! You will probably want to bring more than one golf ball when playing Ocotillo because you will more than likely lose one or more. The price for a round of golf is $100- $150. There are so many different golf courses in and around Phoenix that you could plan multiple golf outings and never visit the same course. Even if you live in the Phoenix area and are an avid golfer, it will be difficult for you to play all the courses because there are just that many.
